London market & I’ll be popping up at the iconic @britishlibrary this Sunday 10th May with @craftyfoxmarket ! 🦊 I am bringing my whole hoard of hand-carved historically inspired jewellery. ✨ From 11am - 5pm you can come to try on the rings, personalise a charm necklace, rummage through samples & vintage chains & explore the many trinkets I’ve made with my two hands in Bristol. 🖐️
There will be massive lab-grown rubies, flaming hearts galore, chunky silver cast-in-place rings, beads (reclaimed & recycled!!) & soooo much hand-made sustainable treasure. 😎 It’s magpie central & I would loveeeee to see you there!

I’ve been working hard over the last lil while to prepare so much new treasure for you. Lots of cast-in-place gem rings & pendants have been created for your adornment (& sometimes mine!).

It’s so exciting to receive new castings back & then to polish them up & turn them into wearable treasures. ✨🥹 It’s a joy to see how they turned out, if they succeeded, how the gems look & what they look like on. I’m a self-taught wax carver & I’ve been making these cast in place rings for literally 5 years. I have worked out how to make them & they’ve changed & improved a LOT over the last 5 years. 😯 These really fill my creative cup as I get to sculpt & play with synthetic gems & wax to really experiment & let loose.
I had a few messages yesterday about how to make these & I’d encourage any budding magpies to play, research & go for it. It’s taken a long time to develop these by trial & error - which is still a huge part of my process. Cast-in-place is for the hardest stones & theres lots of info out there if you want to get into it. It’s fun but it is also very expensive. 🫠🫣
