One of the questions I’m asked most often is: How do we choose the right paint colour and what are the specific paint colours we use in our projects… so I thought I would begin sharing some of the most requested.
Beginning with the West London Townhouse, I wanted the main rooms to feel light, yet retain a sense of warmth. Each room carried its own palette, yet I wanted to maintain consistency through the architectural elements and the overall atmosphere. The wall colour needed to read consistently across the spaces, creating a soft, neutral and cohesive backdrop.
For this project, we selected ‘Dimity’ by Farrow & Ball. It has a gentle red undertone and works beautifully with wood tones. It’s timeless and the kind of colour that responds beautifully to the natural light.
