Today, I want to talk about the V60 brewing method — with this beautiful coffee: Murmuration Rwanda. ☕️🌿
This single-origin Rwandan coffee is bright and elegant, with notes of citrus, red berries, and soft floral hints. Smooth, clean, and full of character.
Here’s how I brewed it:
📏 20g of coffee
💧 320g of water
🌡️ Water at ~94°C
⏱️ Total brew time: ~2:45 min
Using slow, circular pours to bring out the clarity and balance in the cup.
The V60 really lets this coffee shine — perfect for a slow morning and a mindful brew.
Ethically sourced and roasted with care, Murmuration Rwanda is a joy to experience. 🫘✨

You’ll find us on Micklegate, York, just three doors down from our sister spot, Partisan.
☕️ We’re open seven days a week during the day, serving up a vibrant brunch menu, delicious lunch specials, and our own house-baked cakes, oh and @murmurationcoffee too.
🌙 In the evenings, from Thursday to Monday, we switch to Bistro mode — with a seasonal, produce-led menu, a relaxed atmosphere, and a beautiful wine list featuring some very special natural wines from Italy and France thanks to @wrightswines and @tuttowines .
