Essential to the conception and precise siting of the Veil was a series of studies of sunlight and wind at the location throughout the year.
The wind analysis shows that the strongest winds, from the north-west and south-east, only glance the main facades of the building, allowing the Veil to take advantage of natural, cooling ventilation, and for its hybrid living spaces to remain open to the elements.
