A romance pulled straight from the pages of a Victorian novel🌹🕊️📖
It seems to be the year of yearning and classic love stories, which was the perfect excuse for Kali and I to step into a gothic romance of our own. We’ve both always been obsessed with period films, so we knew exactly the timeless vibe we wanted when we took over the Searle Mansion for our engagement shoot.

Kali and I hosted a little “‘Til Death Do Us Part” engagement party last night at my parents’ place with some of our favorite people. We cooked up an Indian feast and all left with very full bellies. Big thanks to my family for helping make it happen and everyone who came to celebrate 🖤
Madeline Island was a dream 🏕️✨
We camped with our friends Ian and Vanessa, who I can’t thank enough for helping plan the trip and proposal with me. I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate Kali’s 31st birthday. We watched the northern lights dance across the sky, counted more shooting stars than we could keep track of, and spent our days hiking, cooking by the fire, and listening to coyotes howl through the night. My heart is so full.

For the past 3 years, Kali has filled my life with joy, care, and curiosity. She’s my list-making Virgo, my mischievous, whimsical fairy queen, my biggest cheerleader, and the most thoughtful soul I’ve ever known. On Madeline Island, with the lake sparkling and the trees around us, I asked her to marry me and now she carries a piece of the forest on her hand with a moss agate ring 🌿 I can’t wait for a lifetime of adventures together. I love you, Kali ❤️🔥
Had a lovely morning strolling around the @millcityfarmersmarket with @dekuuwaker 💕 I’ve lived in this city for years but surprisingly hadn’t checked it out until today. Ran into my buddy Mohamed running the @redwolfchai booth, so we had to give that a try. Was not disappointed 🤌✨
