first of all, i wanna give thanks to the creator for another year of life . another opportunity at growth, understanding, and love.
when i initially had this idea i was 3rd wheeling on a date with taliyah and ar’keya getting mexican food. i was half serious about the concept of an advertisement for my crochet work but they were telling to take it serious. remembering an intention i set at the beginning of the year was to coalesce my creative expressions into a cohesive project and now it was manifesting. the girls were on board and soon enough there was a group chat and rehearsal dates set. all within a month this incredible piece of art was able to come to life. being in the year of the fire horse i feel empowered to move boldly and fearlessly and do it alongside such dope artists was an honor.
to the dancers, i couldn’t have asked for a better group of artists to help bring this into fruition. being in the studio with y’all was such a ki!
to andreos, thank you for your open-heartedness and excitement about the project. there was an idea in my mind but what you were able to capture and create exceeded my expectations 10 fold.
arjae, my blood, thank you for constantly inspiring me and being down for any and almost every shenanigan. thank you for capturing the b-roll and lighting us on that late night/early morning.
last but not least, thank you to busta rhymes for creating a timeless track that i do not own the rights to!

Moving to Nashville almost 2 years ago I never could imagine how things would be today. I set strong intentions at the beginning of 2025 and seeing them manifest real-time is astonishing af no shade. I’m so grateful to have community and family in the nashville dance scene. Y’all have inspired the fuck outta me and I’m honored to have shared the stage with such powerhouse dance artists. Stacie, I’m so blessed to have met you and be under your mentorship and direction, I’m so excited about what’s to come.
