Over Here Zine Fest 25th Oct, 10 - 4pm, People's History Museum - zines from global majority/ people of colour / black and Asian zine makers. Free, all welcome to attend.
FAREWELL/Zine Fest Dump
As Multitudes Zine Fest was a one-off programme involving workshops, the Zine-in-the-Post Packs, and the all-day Fest, the Multitudes Zine Fest Team would like to officially say farewell (for now) and thank you!
We have been overwhelmed and delighted with the level of enthusiasm and participation from all ends of the programme. It's been a joy to spread the love for zines to different corners of Greater Manchester and beyond.
Special thanks to Tulsi, our festival volunteers , @we_rare_things_prints and @haganartist for your contribution and work!
Lastly, a huge thank you to YOU!
Our followers, workshops and Zine-in-the-Post Participants, festival stallholders, and anyone who came to the fest.
We are taking a hiatus for now but will hopefully be back at some point with more Zine-related activities!

It's almost been an entire week since our zine fest!
We're taking the time to look back on the day, starting with our Zine Exhibition!
On display, we had brand new zines made for the day from zines made by our partners and facilitators Shamshad Khan, Dipali Das, and Nasima Begum. The in-person workshops happened from October 2023 to May 2024.
At the same time, we posted zine-making kits to people who could not attend in-person workshops. As well as being shown at the fest, we gave zine makers copies of their zines to do whatever they wanted!
We hope this inspires you to keep making zines!
