I’m going to be a Doctor!!!!! I was sitting in the airport yesterday, talking to my mom when I received the notification that I am accepted into Columbia University’s Teachers College PhD in Science Education.
Crying tears of joy cause this has always been a lifelong dream. I am beyond grateful and could not be more ecstatic to make the great return to my Ivy League Alma mater to study at the intersections of inner city black and brown communities, development, and scientific pedagogy.
I am even more grateful to be directly giving back to my people and getting my 3rd degree in higher education. Representation matters. History in the making 😁✊🏾🫶🏾. #3degreeshotter
