It’s show day! Hear what Allure means to our Event Planning Directors as they invite you to our 20th Annual Fashion Show!
“For me, Allure means so much more than just an event, it represents the experience of working alongside my best friends, bringing our ideas to life, and watching everything we’ve planned finally come together. It’s about the pride that comes from contributing to something bigger than myself and seeing the impact of our hard work. Allure is not just a show, but a reflection of our creativity, collaboration, and the memories we create throughout the process.“ -Paige Sanford, EVP Co-Director
“Allure to me is so much more than just a show. It’s the moments that go unseen that help bring the show to life. It’s the collective love that we all share for this organization which is made up of so many unique and talented individuals. It’s the late night laughs, hard earned hugs, and sleepless nights spent by each others sides all to create something beautiful and everlasting that has touched each of our lives in more ways than we may ever know” -Hannah Moorman, EVP Co-Director

Less than 24 hours left until Allure takes the runway! Hear from our Modeling Directors about what Allure means to them.
“To me, Allure is more than attraction, it’s a magnetic pull that feels meant for you before you understand why. For me, that has always been MUF&D. It’s why I return each year, drawn to the energy, the people, and the electricity backstage. You don’t just walk, you become part of something bigger than yourself. Allure has transformed me, building my confidence, discipline, and presence. It’s more than wearing clothes, it’s embodying a vision. In those moments, time slows, and everyone shares the same breath. That is Allure. A transformation disguised as attraction, growth wrapped in glamour.“ -Ava Britford, Modeling Co-Director
“Being in MUF&D during the season of Allure is something I struggle to explain to anyone unless you’ve really immersed yourself with it. It’s the hard work behind the scenes, the moment before stepping onto a runway, and the people who still choose to show up again and again because they believe in what we’re building. It’s beautiful but it hurts a little too, because you know it won’t last forever. I think that’s what’s so “alluring” about the fashion show; everyone plays a part in some way Allure has truly made me take the time to appreciate the people I get to work with; my co-director, the ICON class, and our exec board has fully dove into bringing our vision to life.” -Madelyn Wood, Modeling Co-Director
“A year ago, this show was something I felt was so far out of reach. Now I have seen it grow, and seen myself grow along with it, that it is hard to picture my life without Allure. Every year, we expand on the definition of MUF&D with the theme of the show. Allure gave a word to the feeling we all had that pulled us towards the experience of MUF&D. In a way, it allows us to also expand on how we define ourselves. I have been able to push my own boundaries while getting to know myself and others. It sounds a little funny to say, but to me, Allure means Red. As an artist, it was a color I never approached or knew how to handle. Now, red has become my everything, and I have never been so drawn to its warmth.” -Madi Patton, GD Director
“to me, allure IS muf&d. i will never be able to shake the feeling i’ve had since freshman year that i need to be a part of muf&d, and i need to be one of the designers on that stage. there is nothing stronger than the pull of something that you’re passionate about- its magnetic, all-consuming, and inexplainable. its about spending every second working in the studio, building your collection next to other designers working on their own, collaborating with exec members, and knowing that each of you are working to be a piece of something much bigger than yourselves. its about driving yourself insane year after year and coming back for more. allure is the first moment you see all your hard work come together and its real, its yours, and its so incredibly worth it.“ -Cami Keaty, Design Co-Director
“To me, Allure represents watching my first MUF&D fashion show. I remember thinking that it would be the greatest thing to happen to me if I could be one of the designers down on the stage. I remember looking up to each of them and their collections, in awe of their creativity and skill. Allure represents the work that is so fun that you love every stage of the process as well as the end goal of taking a bow after your collection. Allure is the draw of working in fashion, and getting to live out your dreams every day. Allure represents the essence of being a part of MUF&D.” -Lorelei Huber, Design Co-Director

To our PR/Marketing and Photography directors— this is what ALLURE means:
“To me, Allure is so much more than shades of red or what walks the runway — it’s an entire chapter of my life I’ll carry with me forever. It’s the friendships I never expected, the late nights, the laughs that had us in tears, and the happy cries that reminded me why I love what I do. MUF&D has given me a home over these three years, and Allure is my love letter to it. I started as an assistant my sophomore year, stepped into leadership my junior and senior year, and now, with my third and final show, everything I’ve poured into this organization comes full circle. I left a piece of myself in Miami that no distance can take away. I cannot wait for everyone to see what we’ve been building. This show is for every memory, every person, and every moment that made these three years everything.” -Alena Lerakis, PR/Marketing Co-Director
“For me, Allure has never felt like a loud invitation—it’s quieter than that. It’s a steady pull I can’t ignore. Coming onto the Exec Board as a sophomore, that feeling was even sharper. I knew how much I still had to learn, which made it impossible not to notice that someone had taken a chance on me. MUF&D didn’t just feel intimidating—it felt earned, and at the same time, like I had to rise to meet it. That trust pushed me forward in a way nothing else really has. It was never just about the clothes or the runway. It was the allure of becoming; of stepping into something before you feel entirely ready, and trusting that you’ll figure it out as you go. Now, that feeling still lives in the same place, but it’s different, too. It’s knowing that I’m not just watching from the outside anymore, and not even just finding my footing, I’m part of what keeps it moving.“ -Avery Heppenstall, PR/Marketing Co-Director
“Allure means to me being able to create a new ambience. Creating a photo with a passion behind the creation. I found that even the rough edges need to be find tuned out to create a smooth photo that creates mystery and beauty. Giving me a great experience and show readiness and giving me a new taste for fashion in MUFD” -Alex Petroni, Photography Director

“To us, Allure means much more to us than a fashion show. It started with a shared vision, one that felt almost too aligned to be a coincidence, and quickly grew into something much more meaningful than we could have imagined. Allure is the energy behind the runway, the chaos, the love, and the moments that push you to create something unforgettable. It is the feeling we had sitting in All Org as freshmen, dreaming of what MUF&D could be, and now getting to bring that vision to life. It is not just the lights and the spectacle, but the people, the process, and the passion that make it all real. To us, Allure is the heartbeat of MUF&D, and everything it has been for the past 20 years and everything it will continue to be.” - Sara Rose + Audrey, President and Vice President of MUF&D

As we count down the final days to the 20th Annual Fashion Show, hear from each executive board member on what Allure means to them.
We’re kicking off Day 1 of Fashion Week with Business Development and Finance.
“To me, Allure means excitement! It is the excitement we all experience seeing a designer’s vision come to life, learning together in Icon practices, and all of the memories and laughter shared on show weekend. It is the culmination of my time in MUF&D and all of the hard work our executive team has put in this year. I’m so excited to see everything come together and bring Allure to life!❤️“
- Libby O’Toole
Business Development Co-Director
“Allure is that moment when it hits you; this is actually happening. It’s all the work done behind the scenes, the random laughs, and the chaos that somehow works out. It’s all the little moments in between that you don’t realize matter until you look back. It is my entire experience within MUF&D and all of the amazing people I’ve met along the way.”
- Cade Rohm
Business Development Co-Director
“Allure to me is the intangible quality I feel being a part of MUF&D. Those of us who choose to contribute walk away better off and knowing that. Also, those in the crowd cannot help but be captivated by what we do, which to me has an innate power that I want to uphold. I was drawn to this org from the very start of my time at Miami and that hasn’t diminished one bit, but rather grown exponentially.“
- Jillian Kuehn
