A listed house right at the heart of #Lychen, the town with seven lakes: This is Sommerfrische at the historic »Painter’s Angle«. Juliane @memoiren_manufaktur and Matthias @matthiaskluckert are offering holiday apartments there. @mueller.plus.mueller did the overall graphic appearance of the new born Sommerfrische.

Ten years ago (there is a certain gap between #feelings and #reality) more or less on this day the #firstwave of the #corona #pandemic hit #Germany. Do you remember? All of a sudden there was a lack of everything. Even #handsanitizer, which was declared to be one of the main #weapons to #flattenthecurve, was out of stock. Berlin curator @annkathrinrudorf and her colleague @benjamin.langholz decided to help in this #situation by providing #homemade handsanitizer to elderly and other people in need. #muellerplusmueller supported them by designing the #label for the #pumpsprays.

About the book:
Remnants of colonialism continue to mark the social norms still found in school curricula and textbooks today.
This anthology explores these colonial continuities and their effects on discourse, imagery, and the politics of language. Embedded in the arts, education, and social sciences, the authors aim to counter these persistences through alternative representations and striking new perspectives.
This publication accompanies the research and exhibition project Untie to Tie – On Colonial Legacies and contemporary societies, realized by ifa Gallery Berlin, in cooperation with the German Federal Agency for Civic Education/bpb.
