UPCOMING | NEW GROUND | 7 – 30 May
NEW GROUND brings together artists from the APY Lands and South Australia in an exhibition shaped by connection rather than a single narrative.
Curated by Tiarnie Edwards, the presentation unfolds through a range of distinct practices, where material, gesture and colour carry knowledge, memory and lived experience. Across painting and ceramics, works move between structure and fluidity - some grounded in repetition and pattern, others shifting more openly, allowing forms to emerge and dissolve.
“Country is the thread that connects all Aboriginal peoples. Through storytelling, Land and Sea anchor generations of knowledge,”
- Tiarnie Edwards
Featuring a new generation of emerging artists working across the APY Lands, regional South Australia and Adelaide, NEW GROUND offers a layered and evolving view into contemporary practice shaped by place.
Opening Saturday 9 May, 2–4pm
