Stonebride, taking into account various (sub)genres such as heavy rock, psychedelic music, alternative, prog, stoner & doom with an emphasis on the underground and mainstream scene, old and new, have maintained a musical path that has only grown and expanded over the years.
“No Chances Given” is the name of the new EP release by Zagreb rock band Stonebride, which celebrates more than 20 years of existence and active work on the scene. It was released on May 15th, exactly two years after their acclaimed album “Smiles Revolutionary” (PDV069).
With this new release, the band continues to creatively express themselves and further develop their recognizable aesthetic. Two songs (“111” / “Barren Slope”) offer a sharp introduction to what could - or could not - be expected from these heavy rock veterans in the future. Rich arrangements, melodic vocal parts, a solid rhythm section and a sound that calls for (re)action make a winning combination for anyone who is ready to let themselves be carried away by the sonic tide.
“No Chances Given” (PDV088) is available via VAT, in a strictly limited edition as a 7-inch vinyl record, as well as digitally.
The band is also preparing more new audio/visual surprises before the end of the year.

Qlesaar is a heavy psych stoner rock band from Lucerne, Switzerland, delivering a crushing desert-soaked sound built on massive riffs, hypnotic grooves, soaring vocals and extended psychedelic guitar jams. Rooted in the spirit of Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Kyuss, Tool and Pink Floyd, the band blends classic heavy rock with raw desert rock energy.
Formed by members of European stoner rock acts such as Carson (CH), Sons of Morpheus (CH), Soulgazer (UK/DE) and Larska (SRB), Qlesaar carries years of touring and underground live experience.
The band recorded their self-titled debut album at New Sound Studio in Zurich. The album was recorded and mixed by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studio, with additional mastering production by Dan Suter at Echochamber Studio in Zurich.
All songs written and performed by Qlesaar except “Mars na Drinu” (S. Binički).

Midwest-based doom rockers SHADOW OF JUPITER share the crushing debut single off their upcoming sophomore full length “BONES”, to be released on July 10th through Ripple Music.
Bones weaves together the depth of doom metal, lumbering heavy blues, a searing touch of psychedelia and Middle Eastern magic into a journey that’s as immersive as it is brutal. Its punishing riffs and fiery energy will leave you staggered, yet always drawn back for more.
Though Bones explores a wide spectrum of styles, vocalist John Piotrowski delivers a mind-bendingly soulful performance that ties the whole album story together. From the frantic fury of “Whatever God You Fear” to the Molotov energy of “Riot Dogs,” his voice gives Shadow of Jupiter its signature sound, one that is unmistakable on every song. Guitarist Colin Peterson channels the expansive power of late ‘60s and early ‘70s songwriting, filtered through an aggression born from today’s chaotic social and political climate. Bassist Scott Brakebill lurks in the dark underbelly, expanding and commanding the entire framework. Drummer Adam Kazragys drives the band like a bus speeding downhill with no brakes, abusing his kit without mercy yet always holding it together, barely keeping the wheels on the road as each song rips ahead. Shadow of Jupiter is a Chicago/NW Indiana-based outfit whose roots run deep in the heavy underground. From proto-doom to the heavy, stoner sounds of the 70’s, their unique combination of soulful vocals complements their heavy, riff-driven scores. Author of Sonic Seducer and heavy underground music critic Sunil Singh dubbed their music “Fury Blues”, perfectly acknowledging their blend of Robin Trower’s tasty tones mated with the bleak melancholy of Sabbath and the anger of Corrosion of Conformity.
