so grateful for my @holistrainingclub family. 🖤 my first HYROX was everything - unforgettable in the best way. the community kept me going when it got hard. trained body, mind, and spirit, and felt every bit of it out there. (writing this with a very full heart. 완전 F 사람 😭🖤)
with no baseline fitness, i ran my first race in may 2025. i couldn’t break 1:06 for a 10k.
months later, two sub60 10ks, and a half marathon with 4 hills and 100m elevation. my heart rate was lower than my first race.
same person. different engine. consistent running and training.
but honestly the data isn’t even the best part.
the best part is the people on race day. my day 1 girls, and my gymmates who became training partners who became people i now can’t imagine my weekends without.
running gave me a PR.
it also gave me the best community. i feel very lucky.
still chasing sub-2. 👊 see you in autumn!
