This week in chapel we observed Transgender Day of Remembrance with a service that included a sermon by Joelle Henneman, senior pastor at the United Methodist Church for All People. “We come to declare that transgender lives are sacred and beloved,” she said. “We come here to say that gender diversity is woven into the creativity of God.”
