Another year past reminds you of the objectives you didn’t fulfill, but letting that shame take up your focus doesn’t leave you with any space to appreciate your ability to accomplish. Stood up. Again. 🥀 I can’t believe I let this happen again!! What’s wrong with me?? What’s not good enough about me to deserve consistently being left with effort unreturned???? Being abused and neglected and taken advantage of?? I have no trust left in others. … But then how can I get into something healthy if I can’t trust from the beginning? … But then how can I even trust my own heart when I’m attracted to people who destroy my light?? It feels like it’s my own blood on my own hands at this point. I’m lost and I’m scared, and I just want to feel real love. Until then I guess I’ll just keep falling through these patterns, further losing my mind. ‼️🫶🏻 If you or someone you know is turning to alcohol, let them know you’re there for them and COMPASSIONATELY guide them to options like AA. Check in on your loved ones regularly: you never know who needs to know someone cares about them. Could be you one day. Care without cause. When an element would make me uncomfortable, I would purposely include it to provide a more authentic story of love’s journey.
