Our family dog (but mostly my mom's dog) Teddy passed away in his sleep last night. It was a shock as he was a healthy dog, and when last I saw him, we walked and ran and he acted like a puppy.
We adopted him from @southernpawsnj in 2014.
I have a memory of him as a puppy, climbing up on the table and eating a skirt steak that was as long as he was.
Another one where I barged into the house and he let out a cry from being scared and ran out the room, leaving my mom on the couch, which showed he was no guard dog.
Another where I walked him around town and heard a small girl ask her mom, "is that a wolf?!"
He was a sweet and happy dog, and a wonderful companion to my mom.

I just completed a watercolor based on a photo I took from a show at @apportusedbooks from September 2025, featuring @chelseasmarr .
I had worked on the background a couple months ago, but worked on the harpist and rug and pedals yesterday @lvartistmeetup at the library with @rkc_artwork coaching me through watercolor hair as I realized I never had to watercolor long wavy hair before. 😅
Also thank you @kelly.cribben for gifting me some shiny metallic watercolors that I used in the hair!
Spent the morning cleaning up the Japanese garden by @pabapl with the Bethlehem-Tondabayashi Sister City Commission to get us ready next week for the Cherry Blossom 🌸 Festival.
