Still reflecting on my birthday dinner and the love that filled the room. 💜✨
People asked why I chose to wear purple, and honestly, it was intentional. Purple has long represented royalty, power, purpose, wisdom, and dignity. This season of my life feels different. I’m no longer shrinking, second guessing myself, or apologizing for the space I take up. I’ve survived too much, grown through too much, and prayed through too much not to walk confidently in who I am becoming.
Turning 40 feels less about age and more about arrival. Arrival into peace. Arrival into softness. Arrival into choosing myself unapologetically. 👑
And to sit surrounded by women who have loved me for years, some for decades and some more recently, was such a beautiful reminder that God will send people who see you, celebrate you, and pour life into you.
So yes, the purple meant something. 💜
It was giving healed.
It was giving grace.
It was giving royalty. ✨

Grateful for peace.
Grateful for growth.
Grateful for clarity.
Grateful for the ability to choose myself without guilt.
Grateful for rest, soft moments, and the freedom to walk away from anything that no longer feels aligned for me. 🤎
But more than anything, I’m grateful for the people God has placed in my life.
My birthday dinner was filled with women I’ve grown to love over spans of 2 years to 20 years, and to sit at that table while they spoke life into me, encouraged me, laughed with me, and poured back into me was something I’ll never forget. 🥹
It reminded me that real connection still exists. Genuine love still exists. Sisterhood still exists.
Nobody but God could have written a story like this for me. ✨✌🏽❤️
