One of the sweetest elopements ever featured on our blog today! We photographed Abbie’s sister’s wedding in 2019 so it was a full circle moment to see her joining her family with Kevin’s. And on a personal note… we loved the @seacrestcapecod so much that we went back for a dual family M.Studios vacation later that same summer with our kids!
Lauren and Ben’s wedding at Belle Mer this past weekend was the perfect example of the saying, “If you don’t like the weather in New England… wait a minute.” The day brought a little bit of everything. We had sunshine, pouring rain, and even a burst of hail at one point! Somehow it all added to the excitement and energy of the celebration. Thankfully, the skies cooperated when it mattered most, and they were still able to have their beautiful ceremony out on the lawn overlooking the water.
While Lauren and Ben may have been the main event, their flower girl absolutely tried to steal the spotlight every chance she got. She was impossibly cute and fully aware of it! The entire day had such a playful, happy vibe. Lauren is definitely the talker of the two, and during his vows, Ben shared that people naturally gravitate toward her. Watching her throughout the day, it was easy to see why. She has a way of making everyone feel welcome, important, and genuinely cared for.
From the colorful florals and packed dance floor to the nonstop laughter and weather surprises, this wedding was such a joy to witness. Lauren and Ben are surrounded by incredible family and friends, and the love between all of them was felt in every moment. Days like this remind us why we love documenting weddings so much.. getting to capture people fully living in the moment, celebrating hard, and loving each other well is something we’ll never get tired of.
