Inspired by my last trip to Tokyo, running around record stores like Sonic collecting hidden soul gems, jazz fusion, city pop and all the sounds I couldn’t stop bringing home with me.
Palm shadows, warm air, and records spinning all night.

TSUKI SOUL blends smooth grooves with late night energy from warm boogie and rare groove to shimmering fusion and Tokyo after dark sounds. Expect glossy synths, rolling basslines and dancefloor rhythms inspired by beach skylines, midnight drives and neon reflections on water.

The crew I’m spinning with, and the ones dancing — we’ve been vibing to good tunes together for over 15 years now.
We used to mess around with CDJs, Controllers, even Serato… but man, going back to vinyl with them — next level things🎶🫶🏻
During the day it’s just a regular record shop, so while customers are casually shopping, we’re spinning Herbie Hancock and chatting like it’s the most normal thing.
And the beauty of that @the_bbe_store space just makes it all even more special.

During the Tohoku tsunami disaster back in 2011 with the DA LIFE crew held a charity event.
I think we were probably the first ones to organize a fundraising DJ event for this in London, and amazed at how much donations came in.
It was such a heartwarming moment. I really felt how much Japan is loved 🫶🏻
Afterwards, we made sure to transfer all the funds to the local reconstruction department 🙇🏻♀️ ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA.
東北の津波の時にDALIFEのメンツと集まってやったチャリティーイベント。ロンドンで募金イベントやったの多分うちらが最初やったみたいで、びっくりするくらい募金が集まってあの時は本当に日本愛されてるわぁって嬉しかった思い出🫶🏻
その後ちゃんと現地の復興部へ振り込ませて頂きました🙇🏻♀️
そして…. 痩せてる、若い、髪がある…🤣
