Another week of shows done, one performed by my wonderful understudy
@floradawson , and I am reflecting on the whirlwind of last Sunday’s
@olivierawards . This was the night… a small gathering hosted by the
@nationaltheatre at Number Sixteen… the ceremony.. the Albert Hall! … the hearing my name, which is a moment I can’t recall at all… and coming off stage to Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen: “Did you win?” “Of course she won, Ian, she’s holding the award!” (a grounding moment with two of the very greats), a moment of magic and sinking in with my wingman and woman at Prosper PR, Luke and Rosie, and then an impromptu regrouping at the Langham hotel, with this special crew… among others, Justin Martin, Suzie Miller, Max Ringham, Nick Pinchbeck, Jamie Glover, Jasper Talbot, Robie Uniacke, Erin LeCount, Cormac McAlinden, Grace Duggan, James Jacob and my agent of 30 years next year, Dallas Smith. The evening ended with Cormac and me drinking the perfect cup of tea. ❤️
