Interlude 26 — a work-in-progress showcase by MA Design students from LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore.
INTERLUDE marks a moment of active transition. Not finished work. Not final answers. What you'll encounter are projects mid-thought, prototypes built to test assumptions, surface tensions, and push ideas into territory that isn't yet resolved. The students are working across three research themes: Design for Social Change, Systems Design, and Technology and Design Innovation.
Their work treats design not as a means of producing objects, but as a tool for thinking through technology, systems, and social change as contested, lived realities.
This is the space between research and resolution, and that's precisely where the most interesting design thinking happens. We're opening it up so audiences can be part of it. Your responses, questions, and any friction you encounter matter here.

The Global Postcard 2025 is an international collaborative online drawing project which revisits the format and poetics of the postcard as a medium that bridges time and space.
Through image-making, participants reflect on the concepts of communication, home, movement and tactility by capturing instances of home and what it entails. Exploring methods such as layering, juxtaposition and experimenting with materials, colour, textures and text, personal narratives are woven together to form a collage of memories. Eventually, a series of collective images embedded with the dynamism of co-creation and collaboration is presented to mark a uniquely collaborative design-making process.
This project is designed and organised by LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore.
