Even though Earth Day has passed, we’re still feeling the energy from our 2nd Annual celebration. It was a beautiful afternoon spent bringing together the best of our campus—from the Digital Photography department’s stunning nature perspectives to the powerful spoken word and music from our Performing Arts departments that filled the air.
A huge highlight were the performances by our student and faculty poets and our MVC Dance crew, who brought so much movement and life to the event! They’ve been keeping that momentum going, too—a huge shoutout to the team for their incredible “Space Between Us” show this past weekend.
We were so happy to see the turnout for our environmental booths and the screening of Fantastic Fungi. A special thank you to the MSJC Environment and Sustainability Club and the Student Government Association for hosting and providing lunch for the community. It’s amazing to see what happens when art and advocacy meet to protect our local landscape.
