I was recently diagnosed with MCAS - Mast Cell activation syndrome (I’ve already had hashimotos, a thyroid autoimmune disorder, for over a decade). MCAS heavily made my face swell for a solid month. My friend said it looked like I was stung by a bee. My dentist said it looked like I was punched in the face. I’ll post more about it soon… with photos.
I’ve done so much healing work for my mcas which I’ll also share soon. But today I took this of my beautiful natural face. No filter. Nothing. Well a tiny bit of makeup :)
I don’t have any botox, any filler (I don’t think it’s the right choice for my autoimmune disorders) I have been committed to aging gracefully and loving my face as is and that got EXTRA hard when it changed so drastically and rapidly from MCAS. But here she is today. As beautiful as ever. To me at least. I know society wants me to feel I need to look like someone else. But today I love looking like me. Just Dani ❤️ and her autoimmune disorders :)
