This short film celebrates black love, specifically from the 60s and 70s, a time when love felt soulful and poetic. This film reflects how love was expressed in an era when men would go to great lengths for their partners. Love doesnāt have to be sexual; itās a romantic bond that two people nurture and build together over time

This concept represents the beauty of self-acceptance , admiring yourself through your own reflection and learning to love and embrace yourself just as you are. It reflects my personal journey of struggling to love my physical appearance and discovering what it means to truly love the person I am, both inside and out. We are all Godās beautiful creations, made in His own image, and that realization helped me find peace and appreciation for my true self.

This series is titled āSelf Love,ā a personal project where I explore the different ways Iāve learned to love myself.
One of those ways is through my smile. My smile represents my inner beauty and the love that God has placed in my heart, a reflection of that love shining outward. To me, smiling symbolizes the joy that is still to come and a reminder to always place my trust in God.
