During the shoot of ‘Monkey Man,’ I was fortunate enough to share incredible moments with him. A true artist, completely devoted to his craft, yet so humble with everyone around him.
I’ll never forget when I asked him for an autograph for my cousin, and he not only obliged but took the time to watch my cousin’s tabla videos. He even asked to video call him to personally send his regards. That’s the kind of person he was — generous and kind, always giving back to the art and to others.
Today, we’ve lost one of the greatest representatives of music and art. I’m sure heaven is shining brighter with his presence now.

I know I’m a bit late—almost 8 months—but I finally want to share my experience working on *Monkey Man*. Filming during COVID brought its challenges: massive action sequences, strict restrictions, and the pressure to perform at my best in a foreign country. But what an unforgettable journey it was!
I learned so much and had the privilege of collaborating with incredible talents like Sharone Meir, Kula and Wie, Working with Dev Patel was a highlight; as an actor, he’s already outstanding, but seeing his dedication as a director was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to Itop Films, Pravesh sir, Rakesh sir, Raj sir, and Pranav for believing in me and providing this opportunity.
