I spent my birthday/Mother’s Day weekend in the house sick 🤒😭
And while home sick, for Mother’s Day, I got up and made breakfast that the kids played over,  spent the rest of the morning fighting with these two to get their hair combed and arguing with my 11-year-old who decided to trade his $45 Nike ski (a Christmas present he begged me for that I was 100% against getting 🙃) for someone’s old UnderArmor one. Oh and now I’m back at work 🫠
Yes, them kids work my nerves. Yes I’m overstimulated and over it today. Yes, I wanna crawl back in my bed.
Still wouldn’t trade this life for another one. #Grateful

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who taught me strength without ever needing to announce it. 💐
My mom lost her mother at just 17 years old, and somehow… she still became the kind of mother so many people wish they had. She figured motherhood out without the guidance she should’ve had, without the extra hugs, advice, or reassurance from her own mama — and she still gave me all of that and more.
At 37 years old, I can honestly say my mother still shows up for me in every possible way. Through every season of my life, every dream, every hard moment, every success… she’s been there. Supporting me, loving me, encouraging me, and carrying more than I probably even realize.
And the truth is, “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for a lifetime of sacrifices, prayers, love, and unwavering support. But today, I just want you to know that I see you. I honor you. And I hope you know how deeply loved and appreciated you are.
You did an incredible job, Mommy. 🤍
