There’s just something about getting your hair done... even better when it’s not the kind you’d get home and cry/ complain😂 @wigsandbeyond took my inspo and slayed it down to perfection!! This certainly has to become my go to ponytail style. My natural hair wasn’t a barrier to achieving a super sleeek look. You could say, I’m obsessed. …and oh what’s a good salon day without killing two birds with one stone. My @byimarabeauty cluster lashes are always in my vanity bag for when I really need it. And the lashes came out super cute!

Crammed my 7+ minute presentation of @ordiiohq at @techinghana Tech in Ghana, Kumasi, into 2:30. It’s been a few months since this presentation, but whenever I see the video, it reminds me of a lot of things: how it started vs where we are headed. Believing in riding with the vision, the months of building, the ideas, the conversations, becoming a team, scouting artists, the launch, hundreds of artist sign-ups, our first paying user, and a few key partnerships coming in... Standing there on that stage speaking, I could see people follow along with nods, then the feedback, and then the questions after, It was very clear that the problem we were fixing made lots of sense. I’ve sat on this for far too long 🙃 Sometimes I think out loud and feel the need to share… so here you go. While reading 1 Chronicles, something struck me. The chapter is mostly genealogy: name after name, person after person. Then suddenly it pauses to talk about Jabez. Just two verses. It made me think about how our actions and even our inactions speak for us. The choices we make, the posture we carry, the things we do (or don’t do). How they all leave a mark. Don't see this as living a life to please others. Rather, as a call to pause and reflect. To ask ourselves: what does my life say about me? Because in the middle of a long list of names, the story paused for Jabez. “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” — 1 Chronicles 4:9–10 (KJV)
