The ability to aspire and execute is a privilege I hold dearly. It symbolizes my family’s migration and is a product of their strength, and their sacrifice. For me, design has always been about making concepts tangible, teaching me that with time and intention, anything can be created. Design has evolved into a record of cherished memories a response to pain, joy, and change. Now, it’s something I share with friends who inspire and motivate me (yes, you🫵🏾).
Over the past six years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning how to create quality objects that carefully preserve the memories of my experiences.

My first collection was received better than I could have imagined, and for that, I am forever grateful and encouraged.
After months of reflection, I can finally put my intentions into words and that is to shift the experience of dressing into one of clarity, autonomy, and strength. This piece speaks to the ethos of my first collection, Tropism.
I explored performance as a means of survival, illustrated here through a cluster of handcrafted leaves subtly mechanized. They remain still until touched, only then do they shift and respond.
The leaves blend into their surroundings, echoing their belonging to a larger ecosystem, community.
A lil poem I wrote for it💌
Tropism, the turning of all parts of an organism in response to an external stimulus; the sun.
Veiled and postured plants extend themselves towards the sun. To the audience, the evolution is poetic. A dance of becoming. Instinctively, it’s a matter of survival motivated by the will to be. Will the sun grant it favour?
Sometime in October I took a mini road trip to a farmhouse in Coburg, Ontario for a curated wellness retreat my sweet sister-friend @ms.keshia.charles brought to life alongside the lovely @tashcash_ the goal was to bring women together to commune and rest up for a weekend and we did exactly that.
I’m sat for the next one.
