shoutout to my amazing 2B 8th for viewing and writing some feedback for Ms. Deacon’s GT class. My 8th are beginning the same Art For a Cause project that the GT class already completed. Hopefully it was good to see some stellar examples before they begin!

It was the last day of teacher appreciation week, the WNBA opening day, the FALS dance, culture day, and tattoo a teacher day!

little pre-teacher appreciation week shenanigans. got gifted possibly one of the best gifts I’ve gotten from students, a flag of our Adam Sandler outfits. And had the best helpers stay to hang some special art.
Teaching middle school is not for the weak, but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

It’s been an honor to host and experience the 1st Annual WOscars (Widmayer Oscars) with my 8th grade classes this week.
These filmmakers came together to watch, review, vote for, and celebrate each others’ films that they made before spring break. We had the Nicole Kidman AMC ad set the mood, mid show performances by Huntrix from Kpop Demon Hunters, drumrolls met with thunderous applause when winners were announced, and some very touching acceptance speeches from our winners.
this 8th grade group knows how special they are to me, and I thank them for indulging me in the whimsy of the WOscars. 🎥🏆🎬💛
