I came to India to study at the source and to sit with these traditions where they were born.
We arrived as 15 complete strangers. We leave connected by shared silence, shared sweat, shared growth, and friendship 🤍
Three weeks that somehow felt more like three lifetimes. Right place. Right time. Right souls.
Alarm at 5am.
Shatkriyas at sunrise.
Vedic Philosophy that makes you question your entire existence.
Anatomy that humbles you.
Pranayama and meditation that steady you when your mind wants to run.
Hatha & ashtanga that nearly break you (hi @yogawithanilbaba #chalobabas).
And somewhere in between all of that, something shifted.
It wasn’t just about learning postures/asanas as we know yoga in the west.
I immersed myself in Ayurvedic medicine: understanding doshas, constitution, and how differently each body processes stress, energy, emotion.
I studied the mechanics of breath and the movement of prana: how the nervous system can be trained, regulated, strengthened.
Mudras. Mantras. Subtle energy. Discipline.
It was intense. Confronting. Beautiful.
Life before YTT and life after YTT feel like two different timelines.
I came for a certificate.
I’m leaving with a different nervous system, and a hunger of knowledge, knowing that this is just the beginning.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you @yoga.tirth for these Incredible three weeks. I will be back.
Climbed Pidurangala alone at 5:30 in the dark, but felt anything but lonely. Well, maybe slightly scared ! 😄🙈Sometimes the mountain gives you exactly what you came for. ✨

located around 40km or 25 miles west of central Bangkok, the otherwise called dragon temple shines bright red across his 17 floors and 80 metres ! 😍 Definitely one of my favorite temple visits this year.
