I’ve never seen a record I’ve mixed displayed so beautifully in a place I've loved so much for so long.
Thank you @jescahoopster for trusting me with your music and for ticking something off my bucket list I didn’t know was on it.
Long Wave Home was a privilege and is out now
Saying a long goodbye to this one. First single from 1313 (I know the second one is out already and I’m fucking useless). Alongside the production, mixing, drums, synths and working on another bunch of Mano’s fabulous songs, I got to work with my wonderful wife again recording her bass, tracking bv’s together and taking it in turns to return curious small people to their beds.
The album is imminent and the band are launching it at The Kamera Ballroom in Manchester on Saturday 4th October. Babysitter booked.
All you need to know is over on their page.

A STRANGER TO YOUR CITY - BEN LE JEUNE
I’ve made a lot of records, and for countless reasons, I rarely share them. Some have been “measured” successful, while others remain mostly unheard due to limited measurement budgets. My favourites usually fall into the latter category, created by the truest of artists - those who have continuously made records for decades, without budget or measurement.
An album came out last week, made by one of these people who trusted me to deliver their best work.
Personal Measurement: This album is not a collection of singles; it’s a journey with a beginning and an end. It was a privilege to join Ben on his journey, and I’m incredibly proud of both the album and him.
Professional Measurement: Currently good.
Recommended Unit Of Measurement: Your own. Stranger To Your City is out now via all streaming platforms
If measurement is good; catch them live in Manchester, London or Paris. #lookitupyourself
Tiny stopover from an extended social media holiday to share Anna McLuckie’s beautiful debut album, ‘Today, Everyday’. It’s on Spotify, Bandcamp and my computer.
