Long anticipated. Highly skilled. With timing and precision you only come across once in a long while, we have a pleasure of booking none else than
Marita Mätlik
She originates from Tallinn, now based in Stockholm. While the style varies between DJ-sets, ranging from fast paced, distorted, industrial techno to raw, driving, hypnotic soundscapes and broken beats, the emphasis throughout remains on percussive patterns with specific detail to the shapes and textures of sound.
About the music:
The set at FreeFlow is an invitation to a transformative rite through the emerging, recognising, repeating, dissolving and reforming of patterns.

Marita Mätlik. DJ and sound engineer, originating from Tallinn, Estonia, now residing in Stockholm, Sweden. Marita found her expression as a DJ and an instant belonging in the forests and warehouses of the Stockholm underground techno scene. With no restrictions to the boundaries of genres, whilst being very specific in musical taste – Marita's selection often reminisces of a childhood in the 90s, blending in fragments collected through past musical discoveries. Resulting in a style of fast, playful, hard hitting and distorted fusion of techno that stole our hearts at VIRTUAL CRUSH: Online Obsession. She now returns to VIRTUAL CRUSH with her driving bass lines, overpowering leads, powerful kicks and occasional breakbeats.
