the first time i ever heard techno music and had that “what the fuck is that?” moment was actually at a Lady Gaga concert. yup! her mentor and collaborator, NYC icon Lady Starlight, opened for her at the artRAVE ball in sunrise, florida in 2014. i remember being totally gagged and transfixed, as i had never really experienced or heard anything like it, which obviously hits different in an IRL context. there were many other significant moments that have guided me to today, but i couldn’t have guessed how important that night would become for me. what a joy it was to have Colleen with us at our MERGE INTO 2026 spectacular in our favorite dirty ol warehouse! such a special time. already looking forward to the next time! some lovely memories from NYE, which has quickly become my favorite holiday, surrounded by the best friends, chosen family, and community! already so stoked for this year’s edition!

This is an official announcement of the start of my DJ career. Her name is Mathilda and she’ll be in a black wig à la Rrose - probably more of a bob in my case, and an artificial mole à la 2011 Born This Way era Gaga. LOL. Though, I’d probably just play Gaga’s discography on repeat and maybe only some of you would be into that. 2025 has been the most transformative year of my life thus far filled with so much love and community care. IG does a really good job of cultivating a false narrative of perfection and idealism, but this was actually one of the most challenging years of my life in many ways. I’m so grateful to be grounded by such a loving bunch of friends and chosen family, and to be part of a community of people that not only inspire me by their commitment to themselves, but also influence me to dig deep within and work it the fuck out. The gag is the answer is always inside you. I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful people that are motivated by a healthy dose of individualism, ambition, passion, and self-care - all qualities that have proven to be the perfect crutch when things seem totally bleak! Life update - I’m coming up on 11 years in NYC, and just turned 30. As a raging Sagittarius that lives each day like it’s my last, this feels pretty cool! 🗽 If this year taught me anything - it’s that peace is the most powerful thing you can prioritize for yourself. Don’t force what doesn’t fit. Shed what doesn’t serve you. You’re a product of your surroundings, so be vigilant about where you put your energy. Ask and you shall receive. Manifestation works, but without actual work - she does not. Care and kindness always come back to you, but don’t expect anything - EVER! I’m so proud of everything I accomplished and learned in my 20s, but fear not - I’m just getting started… 📈 See you at our MERGE INTO THE NEW YEAR tomorrow! 4th year in a row - a tradition - I hold near and dear to me! 🍾 I keep thinking about the first one we did at the Skatepark that Juan (RIP Silent Servant) closed. beppu & oita an absolute blast exploring the Japanese island of Kyushu with my friend’s @dj_nobu_ft and @masa_takeuchi_a.k.a.tabasco , and an epic few days relaxing at a classic onsen. ty guys for such a special experience. so many rich memories, beautiful conversations, and fucking laughs!! i miss it all so much! so beautiful to see and experience tabasco’s club, @azuloita in a mostly rural part of the country - a truly diy endeavor backed by passion and a dream. the community that showed up from all over japan for the 7th anniversary is a true testament to the care that has gone into the place. the music all night was stellar from nobu, masa, and my sis @djnerea ! mentally, i’m still running around with my sis @pocket_sach and all the amazing people we met that night! 🥂hugs to all of you ❤️

FUTURE TERROR x MERGE what an absolute honor it was to share the spirit and passion of @mergebkn all the way in Tokyo and in collaboration with my dear friend @dj_nobu_ft ’s Japanese techno institution, @future_terror . it was a total dream in every sense of the word. MERGE has always been about connecting dots musically and culturally, and this is without question the most rewarding experience checking those boxes to date. thank you, NobuSan, for making this moment happen. i will hold onto these rich memories forever. we did it! so much gratitude! i met so many wonderful people from all over the world that night, but especially Nobu’s orbit and Future Terror family, which is made up of such incredibly kind and passionate people. the music in all three rooms was fantastic all night, the vibes were stellar all the way through to Nobu’s very last moment (which brought me to tears), and the energy was just so joyous and positive! there’s a strong lineage of cross-cultural connection between the techno ecosystems of New York and Japan, and i’m so grateful that MERGE is a part of that conversation. I’m not sure this moment would have happened if I hadn’t seen Nobu play at Sustain Release in 2018 and then the many @thebunkerny parties he played - thanks for making those moments happen, @aurorahalal and @bryan_kaaaaay ! anyway, i could keep going on about this night and what this experience means to me...i often wonder why I chose this life path, but it’s nights like these that affirm that i’m exactly where i’m supposed to be and i wouldn’t rather be anywhere else! thank you to the team working behind scenes to make it all happen @mkhroabe , @masahirot , @keisuke_wombtokyo , and the rest of the crew - you know who you are, and of course @womb_tokyo for being such an incredible host. what a world class venue! also, so ecstatic for my sis @djnerea and good pal @amotikmusic both making their debuts in Tokyo! i can’t wait to come back to Tokyo/Japan, and for the New York edition of this collaboration on 7/17 <3

i love taipei so much 🇹🇼 that week flew by so quickly. so grateful to @pawnshop_taipei for hosting our @mergebkn takeover. the party was so much fun. @djnerea and @amotikmusic absolutely killed it - i was pretty much locked on the dancefloor the entire night with @ryanwassxrman ! so much attention to detail, and oooof what a sound system! lovely to meet so many wonderful souls and eat endless pork delicacies. thank you @forty_fourlions for making it happen. what a joy to kiki with your lovely, silly boots community! i can’t wait to come back already!

@mergebkn ’s anatomy maybe one of my favorite parties to date. historically have not loved this silly holiday we call halloween, but leaning into the playful and ridiculousness was actually so much fun. love everyone in this group so much, and special shouts to @lowres.co for the most amazing lights ever (truss-zilla forever), and @official_rebrand for all the custom scrubs!
