Q1 highlights. What a start to the year ❤️

The most perfect trip with my perfect human. 3 weeks, 8 places, thousands of kms driven, even more chilli scrambles eaten, 1 engagement, a cheeky last day festival and the most at peace I’ve ever felt. Here’s to the future, I’m a very lucky boy ❤️

Asked my favourite person in the world to marry me in my favourite country in the world…and here we are. What a beautiful way to round off an absolutely life changing year ❤️

Today marks the release of our 100th episode, and also weirdly coincided with us passing 1,000,000 downloads 🤯 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so so so SO much for allowing us to build a safe space and community to speak so openly and honestly about alcohol and drugs. When we started this we had no idea where it would go so have had the opportunity to speak to so many incredible guests, and hopefully help so many people means the world to us. This podcast would be nothing without our guests and our listeners so thank you for opening up your hearts, minds and ears to us these past two and a bit years. We have no intention of slowing down and hope we’ve made you laugh along the way. To Connor, Gibbs, Julie, Jake, our Patreon and everyone who has been there to help make this show - we thank you. Also so much love to Elle and Sarah, our partners who have put up with us recording at 6am and 11pm when we need to rush to get something finished. 🇺🇸 OCTOBER ‘25. What a trip. Washington, San Fran, Portland, Salt Lake City and LA. So many good people along the way. Whether it was a 500 cap club or a huge festival stage it is exciting to see @sotauk ’s music reaching so many new humans, and it’s only getting bigger and better. We’ve just announced a humongous debut State of the Art run for February (last slide) and are dedicated to growing this market in 2026. Beautiful hangs. Love it!

Another @burytomorrow tour in the bag. Huge work from the band and crew to deliver some of the acts biggest UK shows to date. Big love to @representclo for hosting the bands debut acoustic performance in this current guise and to all the fans who snapped up our collab shirt within moments of the store opening. Always grateful to work with companies and brands who are up for doing fun and interesting things! Friend first, manager second, hairdresser third. An emotional week celebrating the incredible return of @deafhavana and the release of their amazing new record. Thanks to all the amazing crew that made this run so special. Goes without saying I love these boys with all my heart so to see their growth not just as musicians but as humans has been a joy and it’s a pleasure to work together again. If you’d told @jvgwritessongs and I in 2013 that twelve years later we’d both be here, sober; we’d never have believed you but here we are. Proud of you boy. What’s next 👀

HOLY MOLY. @sotauk sold out the Roundhouse in ONE HOUR this morning. 7000 people trying to buy tickets, crashing the site. Truly incredible. What an achievement. 18 months ago we set out on a mission to build this business into one of the most exciting hard ticket live propositions and from XOYO to Outernet and now to Roundhouse, the momentum is mind blowing. So many people involved in making this launch so good, first and foremost the man himself @sotauk you are doing this bro!!!! Three whole years without a drink. I won’t write an essay about it, just know that each and every one of you whether that be through friendship, family, work or the podcast; has made such an amazing and positive impact on this journey for me. I’ve been rubbish at posting (well tbh I’ve been rubbish at everything) recently, mainly as it doesn’t feel right to be celebrating life in the midsts of losing our dear Nigel, but he truly was such a big supporter in my decision to stop drinking and for that I’ll always be grateful. Here’s some highlights of the last six months including playing at West Ham (wtf, thanks Alan and Steve), a beautiful trip to the US with my partner and clients and some of the wonderful animals I’ve seen along the way. If you’re a podcast listener - thank you, we absolutely love doing this, and can’t wait to show you what’s next. Mad thinking we recorded our first episode when I was only 9 months in.
