We had the best wine tasting in the heart of Georgian wine country at @vakho_oqruashvili_wine_cellar with the charming Vakho and his lovely wife Ekha. Jugs of traditionally made wine, a homemade Georgian feast and tipsy conversations about friends, family and Bollywood!
They even gave us a bottle of cha cha liqueur to keep us warm since we are now moving towards the colder regions in our trip. Georgian hospitality at it’s finest!

Hanoi Food Tour Dump 👏🏽😍
@mrinal_c booked a curated food tour across Hanoi’s Old Quarter for my birthday and took me on a Bourdain style food adventure. We skipped the popular Bun cha, Pho and Banh Mi to hop across local spots with plastic stools and try everything from Sticky Turmeric Rice for Breakfast to Snail and Meatball Soup, Grilled Quail Eggs and Beef wrapped in Guise leaves to the OG Egg Coffee and Pandan Jelly to close the day. Growing up having Christmas lunches and dinners with the Dcosta's (mom's family), waking up to a tree and walking the lanes of Crawford market Christmas shopping were a few ways we celebrated this magical time every year.
I had heard about the German Christmas markets many years back though and it's been on my bucket list forever. This year we finally made it happen. The Striezelmarkt in Dresden was at the top of this list. It's not only the oldest market in Germany but apparently the oldest one in the world! The market dates all the way back to 1434!
We soaked up loads of the vibe, glühwein, trdelník and the food. It's been a merry merry Christmas month! 🎄🎄🎄

Then: We found this tiny shivering thing last year, at the end of cyclone Tauktae. She was so scared, cold and bullied by other cats that just we took her in 'for the night'. We thought we'll feed her, keep her warm and put her up for adoption. But then this storm never left ❤️
