Im pretty sureI learned my anger from my father... and other young men I was around as a young man. I learned my temperament from my mother. She was calm, optimistic and positive but she also was quick tempered when upset.
A tradition from my family that Iāve broken is drinking when life gets tough. My mother was always at my school events and sporting events and I absolutely try to keep that up.
Working with youth or young adults makes me come alive. I do it without feeling drained or bored. Using cameras and talking about cameras is another one, especially since time seems to fly. Working on music is one too, I feel genuine sense of joy and youāll find me with a big smile on my face and laughing often.
Iād rather struggle pursuing and doing something I love, and more specifically my passion. Iāve discovered many things that Iām good at, and Iāve learned that doing things that I donāt like/love/enjoy arenāt getting the best of me for long, and I doubt Iād find success in that.
Something thatās hard to believe or that someone might straight up doubt it being true is⦠never have I ever drank alcohol. Or smoked. Or had coffee. Oh! And that Iām an introvert. Oh and another one is, my father was born in 1925.
I used to not like editing video. I hated it. It was hard, it was a lot of work and took time, and it was difficult. I didnāt think Iād enjoy it or be good at it. But now I enjoy it, and I am getting better. Aaaaaand sparkling water is another thing I used to not like and never thought Iād ever like⦠but now I do.
