From the very first moment I laid eyes on you 15 years ago, my heart chose you. I found you scared and hurting in a neighborhood yard, and I nursed you back to health but what I didn’t know then was that you would also heal parts of me.
You became more than my dog. You were my best friend, my constant, my comfort, and the son I never knew I needed. You gave me unconditional love, loyalty, and joy every single day of your life. So many people loved you, and that says everything about the kind of soul you had.
