This could be you! This hunting season I am doing something different, and you could be too.
I will be hosting a group of hunters at Budgeās Wilderness Lodge for Colorado 3rd rifle bull. Budgeās Lodge is located in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Thereās wildlife all over the place, gorgeous views around every corner, fish in the streams, and great people to adventure with.
Hereās what you need to know:
My group is going to hunt hard and have a lot of fun. There will be good food, beverage and camaraderie but the initial focus is going to be on the hunt.
We will be accessing public land via horseback. Comfortability with horses or willingness to learn is a requirement. I would guess that my group will be putting in a minimum of 5 miles a day in steep country on foot. If youāre not in decent hunting shape, this hunt is not for you.
If you canāt hit a pie plate 10 times out of 10 at 200 yards with a rifleā¦ donāt apply. You will need cold weather gear and a good layering system on this hunt.
If you meet the above qualifications this could be the best week of hunting of your life!

@thesnowleague is one of the best things that has happened to competitive halfpipe riding in a long time. Between the quarterfinals, semi finals, and run off for 3rd or fourth place I did a total of 8 competition runs all in the same day. During those 8 runs I did some of my best runs of the season, but always seemed to miss one trick when it counted. I was so honored to be a part of this and thankful to @shaunwhite and all of the organizers for bringing us skiers into the mix!
