I’ve been quietly planning this for a while — learning, unlearning, and figuring out what I actually want to put into the world, not just musically but personally. No big rollout, no noise. Just the start of something I’ve wanted to do the right way for a long time.
As a DJ, I’ve been feeling a shift. Hip hop doesn’t move the way it used to — not because it’s dead, but because it’s tired. For the first time since 1992, there isn’t a single hip hop record in the Billboard Top 40. That says a lot.
To me, that means we’re in a reset. Too much chasing moments, not enough meaning. Too much noise, not enough intention. And when that happens, the culture always finds its way back to substance.
This release isn’t about numbers or trends. It’s about pressing go, trusting the process, and building something honest, piece by piece.
