The past five days have been truly impactful — filled with emotion, teamwork, resilience, and unwavering commitment. We traveled over 1,200 miles from Miami to Philadelphia, where we began a 250-mile cycling journey from Philly to Washington, D.C., pushing through some of the toughest climbs across four different states. Every mile and every pedal stroke was dedicated to honoring and remembering #EOW Officer Jorge Sanchez 11/01/16, along with all the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. At just 17 years old, Rami Ouazza showed courage beyond his years when he helped save a retired police officer from a burning building. We had the honor of welcoming him to the City of Miami Police Department for a special tour, and to surprise him with a check to attend the City of Miami Police Academy as he pursues his dream of becoming a police officer. 🙏🏼
