Midwest Performing Arts enhances lives through dance by providing each student with a strong technical base while encouraging them to explore creative and artistic thinking and also inspiring them to increase their body movement potential, physical health, and an appreciation of dance as an athletic art form. We provide a professional and encouraging environment in which our students can learn the art of dance while also learning skills needed for a successful life. We believe that introducing and enriching lives in dance is a wonderful gift that will last forever. Our progressive program offers training in dance technique grounded in Ballet, Modern and Jazz Dance, while also including Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and other styles of dance. It is important as a dancer to have a well rounded education in many different forms of dance. Our schedule and curriculum allow each and every student to learn in many genres. We provide classes for all ages starting from 3 years old.
Class schedule and tuition information is now posted our website. Current students have received their evaluations, schedule recommendations, and level placement for next year. Please reach out to us if you haven’t received yours by 4/6/26.

Come dance at Midwest Performing Arts! We are located in Waunakee, WI and been providing a professional and diverse dance program since 2012. MPA provides a fun, professional, and encouraging environment. Students of all ages and levels can come to learn about dance and find an appreciation for it, while learning successful life skills.

Show week starts this weekend! We understand that committing to the Spring Concert is a big decision for all of our dancers and families, so we have carefully laid out all of the requirements for participation in this year’s concert in our informational packet. It is important to us here at MPA to stay organized in order to make the Spring Concert a huge success. Please help us in doing this by fully reading our informational packet. This packet includes: Photo Days information, Dress Rehearsal information, Performance information, Show Orders, Costume, Hair, and Makeup requirements, Volunteering, and Pre-Order links.

MPA’s Spring Concert of Dance is only two weeks away! Our students are ready, eager, and prepared to put on some incredible performances. Calling forth the “Four Elements” in an exciting dance performance featuring the music from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Ballet and much more!

Tickets are on sale now! There will be no limit on the amount of tickets you can purchase this year. Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The sooner you purchase your tickets, the more choice you will have as to where your seating will be. Ticket prices will be $22 for adults and $18 for children under 12 (plus taxes & fees).

Our YPG dancers attended Cathedral Dance Festival this past weekend where they performed and took classes over the course of two days. Cathedral is a big highlight of our season and we can’t thank @cathedraldancefestival directors, coordinators, event staff, and everyone else who helped put this event together enough for an incredible weekend of dance! 🩵
