BIG NEWS! I will be doing my first ever commission as a photographer this weekend. I was asked by the Festival Of Speed organisers to join the team of official event photographers. I will be mainly covering the rally stage and paddock on top of the hill as well as some hillclimb action on Friday and Saturday. I can’t describe how excited I am about this amazing opportunity of my life! I’ve never even dreamed about that my first ever photography job would be at my most favourite event. I’ve been there quite a few times as a spectator but this will be a completely new experience. Such a shame that most races and practice sessions at Goodwood Members Meeting only lasted between 10 to 30 minutes. Fortunately Gurney Cup race on Sunday was 45 minutes long so I was able to find some spare time to do a few of these. It took me a while to find someone in colourful clothes near the track. Almost 3 weeks have passed since the Monaco Historic GP. Withdrawal symptoms are still prevailing…😅 At least my hearing is partially back after a deafening experience in the tunnel without earplugs… it’s good to make memories which last forever 😂

Those rumours I have heard about Monaco were true! A lot of people kept saying it’s amazing, so I had to check it out for myself to see what the fuss all about, and I have to admit…it’s a pretty awesome place to shoot at! 😁 I had a such a great time that I think I might have to come back again one day…I guess…definitely maybe 😂

As always I’m late to the party but here are some of my favourites from the 83rd Goodwood Members Meeting. After such a long winter break it was more about scrapping off some rust and brushing a few cobwebs here and there but overall I’m happy how it all turned out and as always it was very enjoyable weekend. Finally my season kicks off at Goodwood Members Meeting. It’s going to be a challenge this time because two of the most popular spots are now off limits for photographers and the media centre has been moved to the least convenient location. But we like a good challenge!😁 It’s gonna be interesting but I’m really looking forward to it. Members Meeting always has a lovely Spring exciting start to the season vibe. New season is almost here! Thought I’d post something again after a while. About time for the first post this year! I was racking my brain about what to post and this suddenly popped into my mind. You might say that I’ve lost my mind, these are too blurry even for my standards! And you would be right! 😜 But there’s a reason why these didn’t ended up in the deepest depths of the bin. Back in 2021 I’ve posted a series of photos from the British GP where I took photos of F1 cars going through a heat haze which distorted them in such way that they looked like an impressionistic painting. I’ve included the photo of two McLarens at the end, @mattywhitemedia still rates it as my best photo I’ve ever taken 😂 So I couldn’t resist the opportunity to replicate a similar effect last year during a very hot day at the LeMans Classic with some iconic cars and liveries from the Group C era. My 2025 was great but different kind of a year. After very rewarding and challenging 2024, I have decided not to be so dependent on any particular plan. 2025 was a full “go with the flow “ year for me which went against all my previous habits. I left my year to unfold in front of me and just followed my intuition. This helped to be more open minded and in the moment. Thanks to this, I’ve dipped my toes into a photojournalism. I have started writing articles coupled with interviews and my photos from the track which pushed me beyond my comfort zone. This shifted my focus of my photography towards people, race reportage, stories and emotions. Don’t worry! It’s not a goodbye to blurry pictures! 😜 Big thanks to @gtxreport for the opportunities and support @miguelboschgld for a patience with me and guidance. Many thanks to my friends @mattywhitemedia @waynebulleid.motorandair and @red5isalive who supported me and shared their time with me. Some professional photographers don’t rate the circuit De Catalunya as a best place for photos. I strongly disagree. I’ve been there many times both as a spectator and as an accredited photographer and I can safely say it’s one of my favourite places. I like where it’s situated, the climate and the fact it’s very approachable, you don’t have to walk for hours to get to interesting places and it gives you plenty of opportunities to get creative from the public areas and trackside. Here’s a selection from my latest visit to the track in October for the @24hseries . And I shall be returning sooner than I thought!
