Unfortunately, l’ve always been the kind of person who only looks forward, always chasing the next goal. Bigger, louder, faster. But now it’s time to reflect and look back at where I come from. I come from a town where people used to laugh at me for my outfits, my look, my hair. People constantly tried to make me feel like it was embarrassing to be „different,“ while I always saw it as my personal superpower. Today, I’m grateful that I always stayed true to myself and never let those words influence me. I understood early on that „being different is a blessing“. My closest friends know my journey and everything I’ve been dealing with privately for years, which is why it’s anything but something I take for granted to be able to play at the #1 club in the world.
I’m proud that I never gave up on myself, and I’m incredibly grateful to @francismercier and @soleyworld for giving me the opportunity to make one of my dreams come true.
