Decisions under pressure, whether on the field or on the frontline. 👀
Great to bring the AV community together with our PortCo, Pano AI, to explore performance, partnership and resilience in high consequence environments.
Arvind (Co Founder Pano AI) opened with an update on Pano AI, reflecting on the journey to date and reinforcing the vision driving the team forward, from the shifting climate risk landscape to the growing importance of confident, real time decision making across infrastructure, land and energy.
Our AV athlete panel, led by
@mattdeboer with
@mozzie21 and
@rohanbrowning , drew strong parallels between elite sport and emergency response:
1️⃣ Every outcome is data – you can’t control results, but quality data and feedback are what enable better, more confident real‑time decisions.
2️⃣ Pressure is inevitable – high performers train for high‑stakes moments instead of avoiding them.
3️⃣ Resilience is built, not born – like Rohan mentioned how he spends time finding and reinforcing physical ‘fragilities,’ we need to invest early in strengthening systems before the next major fire hits.
We then heard from Andrew Prolov alongside James Carter and Tim Kennewell, who brought this to life through Pano AI case studies, offering a clear look at what matters when time, information and certainty are limited.
A strong reminder that performance under pressure is rarely instinctive. It is built through preparation, trusted partnerships and access to the right information at the right time.
Bringing athletes, operators and leaders into one room like this is exactly what makes this community special. 🔥
