📝 06/12/23 - “Post your shit more.”
In early 2022, shortly after starting consulting at @weareplatoon , I put together an album writing camp for the superstar @tenientertainer .
Teni is insanely talented and the most prolific artist I’ve had the pleasure of working with, so she was already sat on 3 albums worth of solid records; it just needed refining and a meaningful narrative - the thread that would weave it all together 🧵
After 2 intense weeks and a heart to heart intervention in the studio corridor (see slide 3 w/ @only1sarz 🫶🏼), the following day in the last session of the trip, Teni found the thread with the help of King @rymezbpm and his 😮💨 drums. Magical 🥹
Nearly 2 years have passed, I moved on to @redbullrecords and the album evolved further in the hands of my OG @davidaclass , but “YBGFA” remained as track 1.
I’ll forever cherish these moments 💫
