We are looking for an ambitious, creative, and strategically minded Marketing Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of a growing, values-led dance organisation and support the visibility and development of our work across communities, schools, youth programmes and adult programmes. A key focus of this role will be helping grow and promote our Keep Moving programme as part of our wider organisational vision.
We’re looking for someone who is:

Over the next two years, we’ll be working with five brilliant Leicester schools

✨ Catherine Infants Primary School
✨ Scraptoft Valley Primary School
Together, we’ll bring The Moving Classroom to life, exploring how dance can enrich curriculum learning, strengthen communication and vocabulary, support knowledge retention, and build teacher confidence through a co-created professional learning approach.
At its heart, this project is about creating joyful, equitable classrooms where every learner can move, think and thrive. 💜
We’re thrilled to begin this journey and deeply grateful to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation for supporting this work.

What an incredible experience performing at the Leicester Riders basketball match on 17th April! 🏀🔥
Our Moving Together Youth Programme and Keep Moving Collective ladies came together for a special intergenerational performance — old school meets new school! 🙌✨ We brought the energy with a traditional hip hop mash-up celebrating the best of 90s hip hop, and the crowd atmosphere was amazing from start to finish.
A huge thank you to @ridersbball for having us and making us feel so welcome. We had the best time performing and sharing the floor together across generations through music, movement, and community 💜

Learning material straight from the production gave everyone a real taste of the professional rehearsal process — detail, musicality, performance, and connection all rolled into one unforgettable session! What great fun we had! 🎤🕺🏼

To launch @spacecentre@bidleicester city-wide solar system trail, Moving Together Youth danced through the streets of Leicester and performed planet-inspired dance pieces at @haymarketleics 🌌
Planet Parade is a free access trail that transforms Leicester into a walkable solar system. The trail is active until 31st May and details can be accessed on the ‘My Leicester’ app🌏

For March we had the pleasure of having Pete Shenton. We dived into the world of physical theatre and improvisation - finding creativity in everyday actions and transforming them into performance ✨🪄
Through playful tasks and shared exploration, we discovered how small gestures can grow into powerful movement phrases. It wasn’t about “getting it right,” but about listening, responding, and creating together in the moment 💃🏼🕺🏼
