✅Performing Arts and its contribution in community building
In the midst of everything, I had the wonderful opportunity to share my Sattriya journey with the Dance Studies students at the University of Auckland.
It was a truly humbling experience and an absolute pleasure to bring a piece of my culture into the classroom, contributing in a small way to the rich and evolving cultural tapestry of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
I spoke about the history of the dance form, demonstrated a few basic units, and wrapped up with an engaging practical session with the students.
Thanks to @universityofauckland and @moveyourthinking Dance studies faculty. Special thanks to @roseyfeltham and Barbara Snook.
