Edson is a dynamic hip-hop dancer, choreographer, and educator hailing from Paterson, New Jersey, with Afro-Latin roots that deeply influence his artistic expression. Beginning as a self-taught dancer, Edson’s journey led him to become the artistic director of Project D Dance Company in New Jersey, where he contributed his creative vision to numerous performances and competitions along the East Coast. After transitioning from the competitive scene, Edson shifted his focus to teaching and creating art. In his classes, Edson emphasizes the foundational elements of hip-hop culture, fostering an environment of growth, risk-taking, and gratitude. He encourages students to lead with positivity and perseverance, aiming to promote a deep understanding of movement and self-expression. Youran Lee, known for her powerful, feminine dance style, is an NYC-based performer, choreographer, and dance educator. She has over 20 years of dance experience, and 10+ years of teaching experience. Youran is trained in street and club styles, ballet, jazz, tap, commercial choreography, and more. She aims to be a teacher and leader that creates spaces where students can explore, mess up, and reach their fullest potentials. Sarah Esser is a choreographer, filmmaker, and dance educator based in Queens, NY. With a background spanning both the contemporary and commercial dance worlds, Sarah has honed a unique choreographic vocabulary that makes meaning through shape and tension and finds a home in the off-kilter. Andrew Solis is known for his sharp, stage-ready choreography and his foundation-forward approach to teaching. Born and raised in Queens, New York, he has been able to train under the best of the best throughout his dance journey training in Hip-Hop, house, commercial choreography, and more. Andrew is passionate about teaching, wanting to share what he has learned from his mentors with others through his lens and artistic expression. His dedication to growth and artistic development has led him to sharing his work on stages throughout the East Coast and dancing for international artists, including BTS and Stray Kids. Iman Brooks, admired for her groovy and sultry style, has been a force in the East Coast dance community. She teaches, she performs, she directs, and she battles— an undeniable all-arounder. Iman is trained in many styles, from club and street dance to West African, contemporary, and commercial choreography, delivering range, authenticity, and passion to everything she does.
