This project was so much fun, a lot of time was spent deciding where each fabric should go. I started with 5 used sweaters, pieced them together and embroidered over each seam by hand with reclaimed yarn! (The yarn was leftover from a sweater I unraveled, dyed and reknit last year).

I started with 3 suit jackets I found at my local thrift store. I always have used men's ties on hand for making bias bindings (inspired by Koos) and in this case it really suited the theme of the competition. So I covered all the horizontal seams with the bias binding. It was a real puzzle to cut all of the pattern pieces from these 3 jackets but ended in very little waste! #suitsyou #vogue8998
