My best friend Edwin passed away this past weekend. I do not have words for the magnitude or the injustice of this loss. He was the most special person in the world. He had the brightest future and the brightest light. I loved him so much and i felt excited for him and proud of him every single day. There was truly nobody just like him in the world. He was the strongest person i ever knew, and also the most intuitive, understanding, and kind. He was there for me no matter what, and I did my best to be there for him however I could. He was brave, proud, funny, sweet, emotional, hardworking, determined, sensitive. He was my best friend. He will never be forgotten.
We are raising funds to help cover the funeral costs and expenses to allow him to be laid to rest in his home country of Guatemala. He was only 23 and had been supporting himself in this country independently for the past decade. Now it is our turn to provide for him and allow him to be reunited with his family and his home which he loved dearly.
